Front door in the S 8000 system
Large steel stiffening elements
To achieve the required static properties, GEALAN has arranged
the partition bars in the front door from the S 8000 IQ system
to allow the insertion of the largest possible stiffening elements.
This specific arrangement of partition bars combined with
an installation depth of 74 mm enables the use of a steel with
30% higher flexural rigidity. The stiffening elements are pre-milled
for faster assembly. The threshold supports already tried and tested
in other GEALAN systems also provide an interlocking connection
between the front door frame and threshold in the S 8000 IQ profile.
Wide range of accessories
There are also matching weldable corner connectors to greatly increase
the torsional rigidity and corner strength of the front door wing.
The wide range of accessories allows for the construction of all
common front door variants. The front door profile can be fitted
with all commercially available hardware and locks, as well as most
filling panels of up to a thickness of 46 mm. Front doors from
the S 8000 IQ system can be manufactured to open inwards or
outwards. The front door profile is available in numerous
GEALAN-acrylcolor® colours and (wood grain) decor foils.
Front door and French window thresholds for accessible living
The S 8000 front door and French window threshold is ideal for use in wheelchair-accessible
living thanks to its overall height of just 20 mm. The cover plate made from aluminium makes
the threshold extremely robust, while the multiple sealing levels and a sealing block with
counterpiece integrated into the corner make it extremely airtight.
